Claudia Li Johnson and Gabby Kono-Abdy happen to do both.
The childhood friends behind VIN have built one of those brands fashion people seem to find before everyone else. From their instantly recognizable fish-shaped handbag to their sculptural conch bags, VIN has become known for accessories that feel playful, unexpected and timeless. They're the kind of bags that don't need a logo to be recognizable.
That same point of view extends far beyond their own designs. Claudia has become known for her discerning eye and appreciation for craftsmanship, while Gabby brings a cinematic perspective shaped by her background in film and creative direction. Together, they've built a brand rooted in thoughtful design, making them exactly the kind of people we'd trust with a shopping recommendation.
